The basic OBJECTIVE of an Opportunity strategy is:  To allow for opportunity to take advantage of high risk yet high reward opportunities.  These dollars are not needed to fulfill your RETIREMENT or INVESTMENT goals.  They tend to be very high risk.  

The basic CRITERIA of Opportunity dollars is: To gain the highest potential possible on the dollars yet have little concern for the return of the principal of those dollars noting that these are HIGH RISK strategies.  For example, gold, silver or other precious metals or minerals, individual stocks, investment properties & other business opportunities.

NOTE:  Because of the level of  "RISK" one takes to invest in these types of opportunities, a special license may be required and MSA may refer your interest to an outside affiliate who specializes in this quadrant.
